I want to thank the election committee for all their hard work in picking the slate of the prospective new officers, to be voted on at our March 12^th GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING. I want to see all of you here in town in attendance. If you were not at our February General Assembly meeting when they announced the Candidates for the Election they are Al Ward for President, Leon Rolnick for Vice President, Al Badner for Treasurer, Evelyn Clark Recording Secretary, and Kitty Leonard Corresponding Secretary.

For the March 12^th meeting do not forget that the American Consulate (Kelly Trainor) and the Canadian Consulate (Lynn Benoit) have been invited for a question and answer period.

I stopped in on the Home Tours on the 20^th of February and I want to thank all of our workers there (volunteering) and bringing in the bacon. As this is the MAIN FUND RAISER of our Club, I’m sure they still need some of you NEW MEMBERS to sign up and get on board.

And another thanks goes to Al & Yvonne Ward for yet another very successful BAZAAR, and all their workers. Lots of hard work by all the volunteers, but look at how the Puerto Vallarta Community benifited, and that is what it is all about.

Thanks for being Members and helping the less fortunate here in Puerto Vallarta.

CONGRATULATIONS YOU ALL! Your production of BAZAAR 2002 surpassed all previous records! It was the smoothest operation yet--our teamwork in putting it all together on set-up day, Saturday, was record-breaking, and, so was the crowd lined up outside the school gate waiting for the 9:00 a.m. (Sunday) opening--everyone hoping to find something special and very affordable. It is our unique project for the fun and benefit of the Mexican community and it's become a tradition that is looked forward to by our residents. Every year we try even harder to bring together enough goods to produce a great show--and so we did again. We went home perhaps a bit weary after such a demanding day, but happy, I'm sure, knowing that you participated in an event that's fun for all. Thank you, Members, and the wonderful City of Puerto Vallarta.
