IFC News February 2001 Pg. 2

Thank you to …
  • Zack Herman, a 17 yr. old boy from Montclair, New Jersey heard about IFC’s Cleft Palate Program through his parents who took a Home Tour late last year. This inspired him to raise $US520 from friends in his community during the holiday season because “people are very generous right now and many feel it is a time of giving, not necessarily receiving”. He chose the Cleft Palate Program because “it makes me feel good that I am helping others who are less fortunate than me.”

  • Peter Weir of Calgary, Alberta donated 40 solar powered calculators.

  • Dave & Linda Bennie and members of their congregation in Townsend, Tennessee donated several boxes of pencils and crayons.

  • William & Yvonne Goddard from Wheatridge, Colorado for their generous contribution.

  • Paula Bridges obtained 1500 boxes of crayons from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and arranged the shipping to Puerto Vallarta.

  • Don Flerchinger brought a big box of school supplies with him from Hood River, Oregon.

  • Fred Sinclair of Sacramento, CA and Anne Caldwell of Edgewater, Florida for their generous donations to our Medical Program.
