It looks like a few of our members are returning here as our first General Assembly meeting of the year was attended by some 38 members. We still are in need of some chairpersons to fill out some positions on our Board. Please feel free to contact me if you have any thoughts on this subject. Also along this line it is time to be thinking about an Election Committee, so pick up that telephone and give me a call, as we are a volunteer organization. Speaking of volunteers I attended the first Home Tour of this season and it was nice to see many of our old standby members and some new, in attendance, running this vital mainstay of our club. We are always looking for volunteers.

I will be out of Puerto Vallarta from the 5th of December to the 25th, so keep up the good work and give our Vice President Mary Wichie (224-3097) a call on any of the above mentioned matters or any thing you have in mind which will help our International Friendship Club, grow bigger and stronger.

Irma Willis addressing 1st Home Tour group of season

The Private Home Tours got off to a great start on Nov. 21 and Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22. We have wonderful new docents: welcome Jerry Blair, Norm Oakley, Al Burrow, Karen Guthrie, John Lockington and John Hamlin . We need you all!!

Dear Evelyn Pine is in the Plaza both Wednesday and Thursday with our poster on a stick to direct folks to the Molina de Agua. Leon Rolnick is selling the tickets and Ester Johnson is manning the name tag desk both days - real dedication!!

We cannot do the home tours without these volunteer members and the wonderful homeowners who lend us their houses. We are coming into our high season when we have seven or eight buses both days. We will need more of you to help for four hours either Wednesday or Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as docents. Please call Irma Willis and volunteer 222-3298
