Sally Kildea & Muffy Long
Dear Ladies of the I.F.C. and Friends,
The second luncheon was held at the River Café
with 29 ladies and new members. Donna Readerman was our photographer,
and some of the women talked about themselves and where they came
from. We missed Sally who was on vacation in Michigan.
I hope we will see you at the next Luncheon. I
also want to mention that the Christmas Party was a great success
and everyone enjoyed it. Coming up is the Valentines Party also a
Pot Luck not to mention a few more. Thanks to all the ladies and
friends of the IFC

The date has not been designated yet in February, but
we want to remind all of you and your friends (if you will, please) to
keep us in mind when your after the holiday’s clean-up begins (perhaps
you’ll even be tossing out some “presents” or perhaps some of your tired,
old holiday decorations.) Remember, anything goes (well, almost …
we can’t afford to hire a bulldozer or dump truck to carry it away), but
if our club labor force (?) can manage it, we’ll take it. As
the date approaches, we will also take deliveries at our bodega—you can
call the clubhouse for those dates and the bodega location and open hours.
Pitch in and help—the success of this event depends on all of you.
We’ll be asking for our volunteer force at the next General Meeting, January
11.
One of our “ole-timers” of the original Bazaar, Marcy
Kengott, is back in town and raring to again get involved in this event.
She was the founder of our very successful Boutique department at this
fun affair and will have her hand in putting it together again. Thank
you, Marcy, for your continued interest in making this event a fun affair
for all of us and the droves of Mexicans that look forward to those gates
opening.
Bring on your throw-a-ways—we’re anxiously waiting to
hear from you!
